Glodon Participated in RICS China Summit 2021
Glodon and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) have entered into a corporate partnership, as of May 10, 2021. The goals of the corporate partnership are several and the objective for both parties is to embrace in-depth transformation and development for China and the global built environment.
Mr. Pierpaolo Franco, the Vice President of Glodon, and Mr. Neil Shah, Strategic Partnerships Director of RICS, have represented each of their organization to sign the agreement. The representatives from both parties have agreed to achieve win-win cooperation for the resources advantage for both and further expand the cooperation into various areas of practice and research topics throughout the whole year. The corporate partnership will generate innovative materials for the construction industry globally.
As part of the corporate partnership, Glodon
was invited to RICS’s 2021 China Summit - Infrastructure Development and City Services under the Pattern of Innovation, which was held in Shanghai, China. The conference focused on development and innovation in urban cities, financial market policies, investment patterns, the transformation strategies of the construction industry, and the diversified development of the real estate industry. Mr. Pierpaolo Franco was invited to participate in a dialogue entitled “Innovation-driven and High-quality Urban Cluster Development.” Other speakers participating in the dialogue included Mr. Tim Blackburn, China Mainland CEO of Swire Properties, Mr. Eric Zhang, Urban Innovation Center GM of Arup, and Ms. Kathryn Han, Valuation Advisory Services Greater China Senior Director of JLL.
RICS is a professional body promoting and enforcing the highest international standards in the valuation, management and development of land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. The two sides expressed that they will work together to carry out multilateral research and cooperation based on the principle of mutual trust and win-win cooperation for the construction industry. The comprehensive advantages of both sides in terms of technology, talents, platforms and resources will be fully integrated to effectively promote the sustainable and healthy development of the construction industry.
