above ground. The building height is up to 60.15m. The 1 # apartment and 2 # apartment have 16 floors above the ground. The office building has 15 floors above the ground, with garages at the second and third floors underground, and a shopping mall on the first floor underground. The first floor to the fourth floor above ground is mainly commercial areas.

ii. Focus and Difficulties in BIM Application
-Focal point in BIM application: Optimization of pipelines layout; three-dimensional communication and coordination on BIM disclosure; quality inspection of BIM models, and delivery and implementation of application results; monitoring of dynamic costs; and management of contracts, variations, quality and safety.
-Difficulties in BIM application: Complex construction drawings; the project team's lack of experience in systematic and comprehensive supervision of BIM projects for pipelines; the developer has a tight schedule but high requirements on quality; high requirements on the accuracy of BIM models, but lack of professional knowledge and field experience of the BIM management.

Revit enables the users to complete the detailed design output of the building models from Glodon's civil quantity takeoff software, and add external curtain wall models. MagiCAD package enables the different disciplines to establish the MEP models independently, to achieve the transformation from 2D to 3D, visualize the complex nodes, pipelines and equipment, so that the conflicts, if any, can be easily recognized.
The management personnel can further use the models to access the BIM 5D management platform effectively, which will make it easier to make effective decisions, achieve lean management, reduce variations, and cut down the project costs.

Construction process simulation, in combination with schedule planning function and 3D dynamic presentation, enables the users to obtain the building process visually, and compare the actual progress with the planned progress.
- Roaming Animation
The software can simulate the real effect of the building. Users can see not only the overall external structure of the building but also the internal space layout.
-Efficient Allocation of Materials
The construction materials can be screened and allocated quickly to the specific construction sites according to the work time and schedule, so as to better implement the labor schedule, material management plan, material procurement and utilization plans.
-Contract Ledger
A contract management platform with the functions of searching, acquiring and archiving, enables the users to easily obtain the details of any specific contract.
- Variation Management
Users can add variations, verifications and other expenses incurred during construction and associate with the specific construction contracts on the BIM5D management platform. The software can automatically link the relevant data for calculation, so as to generate dynamic cost records and achieve better control of cost.
- Dynamic Cost
The dynamic ledger enables the users to monitor the dynamic changes in the cost of each item in real-time, and observe the real-time over expenditure or balance. The dynamic cost monitoring system is established to include the contracts, variations and verifications in the dynamic cost, compare it with the target cost, generate regular reports, and give an early warning in time in case of over expenditures.
- Measurement and Payment
The platform can summarize the construction progress on-site in the quarter, month or any specific period, and give back the claimed amount, approved amount, payable and paid amount of the progress payment in real-time so that the client can make budget allocation according to the actual performance on-site and the progress at the current phase, and obtain the details and proportion of the actual payment for each phase more visually.
- Project Dashboard
During the implementation of the project, the project dashboard enables the client to obtain the project overview, supervise overall project progress, project details, dynamic cost changes within the time range of the current report, as well as the cost review and appropriation data overview.
- Quality and Safety Management
The site manager or workers can take photos and upload them immediately when they identified risks in the construction site, and with our software, it will automatically send SMSs to the person in charge and request for rectification within the specified time. The site manager can not only track the rectification of specific problems but also summarize and export all potential risks in Excel form for the convenience of viewing and management.
- Data Assets Management
Data assets related or relevant to the construction projects can be uploaded and managed so as to avoid loss of hard copies, repeated transmission of information and errors in documents transmission.
iv. Application of BIM
All the stakeholders’ workflows and approval procedures can be completed on the BIM5D management platform, where all the images and documents are under management, and sharable among the relevant stakeholders, achieving multi-party collaboration and paperless office and making the workflows more transparent.
