Glodon's Digital Restoration Model Gains Recognition at COP30

On November 15, Glodon’s innovative digital approach to ecological restoration was highlighted at the China Pavilion Side Event at COP30, held in Belém, Brazil. The "China Corporate Green Transformation Practices Report 2025" (hereinafter referred to as the "Report") was released at the event.

The event’s theme was "Low-Carbon Technology Innovation and Industrial Practice", and it was guided by the Department of Climate Change, Ministry of Ecology and Environment, and jointly hosted by the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, the Environmental Development Center of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the China Federation of Industrial Economics, and the China Industrial Development Promotion Association.

The Report, launched at COP30, showcases leading green transformation practices by Chinese companies from 2024-2025. Glodon was recognized as a "Contributor to Global Environmental Governance", with its Shan-Shui Initiative in Southern Hainan highlighted as a benchmark for "Intelligent Governance and Ecological Restoration".

Under the Shan-Shui Initiative in Southern Hainan, Glodon has developed a "Digital-Enabled Holistic Ecosystem Governance" model. This approach integrates the entire restoration process—from problem identification to implementation and outcome tracking—onto a unified digital platform. This data-driven system enables project teams to predict ecological trends and quantitatively measure restoration effectiveness in real-time, addressing a traditional overemphasis on implementation over evaluation.

By leveraging digital technology, the project significantly reduced its carbon emission intensity, enhanced resource recycling, and improved both water conservation and ecosystem carbon sequestration. This approach provides a replicable model for synergizing ecological health with low-carbon development.

Glodon's recognition at COP30 underscores its leadership in green transformation. Additionally, the company's video, "Together We Build Tomorrow," received the "Annual Green Future Co-creation" award at the COP30 "Sustainability Visionaries" exhibition, which honors storytelling about corporate green action.

As a committed practitioner of China's "Dual Carbon" goals, Glodon will continue to drive technological innovation, integrating digital solutions with ecological management and low-carbon development to power its own high-quality growth and contribute to a sustainable future.
