Glodon Joins Digital Economy International Collaboration Alliance to Accelerate Construction Tech Cooperation Worldwide
The Global Digital Economy Collaboration Forum was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing on July 3, as one of the flagship forums of the Global Digital Economy Conference 2025. It focused on advancing China’s national digital economy strategy and high-level opening-up agenda, aiming to build a mutually beneficial ecosystem for international cooperation. The forum served as a platform for global dialogue, collaborative innovation, and industrial partnership, promoting the “Beijing Model” for global digital economy engagement through one-stop services that empower high-quality business growth.
Glodon Company Limited, a leading digital building platform service provider, was invited to attend the forum as a key player in the digital construction sector. Sharing insights into its global expansion journey, Glodon showcased milestones in technology export, business model globalization, knowledge sharing, and brand internationalization. At the event, Glodon officially joined the Digital Economy International Collaboration Alliance, collaborating with other industry leaders to foster a global cooperation network. Together, they aim to promote cross-border data flows, intellectual property protection, and the development of international standards, reinforcing China's contribution to the globalization of the construction industry.
In addition, Glodon’s signature initiative, AEC Connect Day, was also selected as a model case of global expansion among Chinese enterprises in the digital economy sector. Since its launch in 2018, AEC Connect Day has evolved into a highly regarded platform in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. It brings together innovators, decision-makers, and technical experts from the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) sectors for idea exchange, experience sharing, and strategic collaboration. It also serves as a vital window for introducing Chinese construction technology to international markets. Through this event, Glodon has deepened trust-based partnerships, shared its expertise in digital transformation, localized implementation, and organizational development, and driven the formation of a cooperative, complementary global innovation ecosystem, accelerating a new paradigm for China’s construction technology sector.
Since embarking on its international journey in 2008, Glodon has steadily expanded its overseas presence. It has established subsidiaries in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and China’s Hong Kong, while actively developing markets in Vietnam, the Philippines, Thailand, and the Middle East. In Europe, Glodon has built strongholds in design through Finland’s MagiCAD and Sweden’s EQUA, with a focus on construction solutions in the UK, and advanced cloud rendering capabilities through Shapespark in Poland, providing sustained momentum for global breakthroughs.
To serve international markets, Glodon continues to deliver cutting-edge technologies centered on its AI large model for the construction industry, AecGPT, which covers the stages of design, procurement, and construction with professional capabilities in automation, decision-making, and content generation. Glodon has also officially launched Gsite, its construction project management platform, in Asia, helping connect stakeholders, boost efficiency, reduce costs, and risks. Meanwhile, Cubicost, its flagship 5D BIM digital cost management solution, continues to evolve by integrating AI to support precision project delivery.
What Glodon represents is a determined and practical approach to global expansion as a digital building platform service provider. Whether joining the Digital Economy International Collaboration Alliance or being recognized as a model case of global expansion among Chinese enterprises in the digital economy sector, Glodon is not only exporting products and technologies — it is co-creating ideas, methodologies, and ecosystems.
Looking ahead, Glodon remains committed to seizing global opportunities in construction digitalization. With openness, professionalism, and concrete strategies, it will continue working hand-in-hand with international partners to shape a smarter, more efficient, and sustainable future for the global construction industry.
