Glodon Hosts BIM UP Vietnam 2025, Accelerating BIM Transformation with AI-Driven Solutions
Glodon successfully hosted BIM UP Vietnam 2025, one of the country’s largest BIM-centric events, on May 20, bringing together construction professionals, policymakers, and technology enthusiasts. The event attracted more than 1000 registrations and welcomed over 800 live attendees.
A special guest, Dr. Ta Ngoc Binh from the Construction Economics Institute, Ministry of Construction, delivered an insightful presentation on upcoming BIM-related policies, regulations, and national guidelines, providing clarity and direction for the local construction industry.
Glodon unveiled the evolution roadmap of Cubicost, showcasing major milestones and revealing its ambitious plan to integrate AI directly into the Cubicost platform. The latest 2025 version brings significant enhancements.
Another key feature of BIM UP Vietnam 2025 was the Vietnam 5D BIM Contest 2025 hosted by Glodon, which attracted 96 teams of engineers, students, and industry experts to showcase their capabilities in quantity takeoff and cost estimation using Glodon Cubicost. The contest served as a platform to demonstrate digital capabilities, foster collaboration, and promote the adoption of BIM technology across the industry.
Seven outstanding projects were recognized for their real-world success in applying 5D BIM to improve efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration in construction workflows. These winners demonstrated how technology is transforming project execution across Vietnam.
One of the winners, RFR FV, a leading consulting firm, delivered a practical testimonial session that stood out as a key event highlight. Their representative shared valuable insights on:
• How Cubicost 5D BIM is being applied in consulting workflows
• Best practices to maximize efficiency and accuracy
• Suggestions for future improvements and user-centered enhancements
Among the award winners, CENTRAL Construction Joint Stock Company emerged as a notable leader in BIM implementation. The company received two top recognitions:
• Team Award: Best Cubicost Application 2025 for the Estuary Tuyen Son project in Da Nang
• Individual Award: Engineer Vo Thanh Thien for his standout entry, “Cubicost 5D BIM – A Journey of Pioneers”
CENTRAL has long been at the forefront of digital construction in Vietnam, applying BIM to complex, high-impact projects. The company’s ongoing commitment to innovation has yielded improvements in material control, cost savings, productivity, and project outcomes.
After the event, Frank Cui, Director of Business Development at Glodon, visited the company’s headquarters and met with Mr. Tran Quang Tuan, Chairman and CEO of CENTRAL, and the company’s BIM engineering team. The two sides exchanged views on BIM implementation strategies, explored emerging trends, and discussed the latest updates on Cubicost. The visit also reaffirmed both parties’ shared vision to deepen collaboration on jointly developing solutions tailored to the construction industry's real-world needs in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
BIM UP Vietnam 2025 demonstrated the growing momentum of digital transformation across Vietnam’s construction sector. From showcasing AI-powered product innovations to recognizing pioneers of 5D BIM, the event strengthened industry partnerships and set the stage for long-term, sustainable growth.
As Glodon continues to empower the built environment with advanced technologies, its collaboration with forward-thinking companies reflects a shared commitment to shaping the future of construction — smarter, faster, and more connected.
