Building on this foundation, the new MoU outlines deeper collaboration in several key areas—particularly the integration of Building Information Modelling (BIM) into in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, particularly in Quantity Surveying and Construction through academic seminars, workshops, BIM competitions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
The partnership is designed to enhance students’ readiness for the evolving construction landscape by bridging academic learning with real-world applications. It aims to develop digital competencies aligned with current industry demands and to improve graduate employability.
Glodon also expressed interest in exploring further initiatives under this partnership, including involve industrial training placements, voluntary industrial training (VIT) programs, beginner-level professional certification in digital construction software, advanced technical workshops, and potential student visits to Glodon Shanghai Building, supporting the joint vision of fostering hands-on, globally relevant learning experiences.
The collaboration reflects Glodon's broader mission to digitally transform the construction sector worldwide by fostering innovation, driving upskilling, and enabling academia to play an active role in shaping the industry’s future.
