CIDB Digital and Glodon Sign MoU to Advance AI-Driven Digital Construction in Malaysia
CIDB Digital and Glodon have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance the adoption of AI-enabled digital technologies and strengthen digital capabilities within Malaysia’s construction industry.

The signing ceremony was held in the presence of Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Kerja Raya, YBhg. Dato' Seri Azman Bin Ibrahim, Glodon Senior Vice President Liu Qian, as well as senior representatives from government agencies and industry stakeholders.
The collaboration reflects Malaysia's broader efforts to enhance productivity, promote innovation, and support the transition towards a more digitally enabled construction ecosystem as the nation advances its long-term infrastructure development and economic transformation agenda. CIDB Digital Sdn. Bhd. is the digital arm of the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia, responsible for driving the adoption of digital technologies and innovation across the Malaysian construction industry.
Through this MoU, both parties will work together to explore collaborative initiatives aimed at strengthening digital capabilities across the construction ecosystem and encouraging greater adoption of advanced technologies within the industry.

Among the key areas of collaboration include initiatives that promote the use of AI-enabled digital construction technologies in real project environments, as well as programmes that support industry capability development and talent cultivation to prepare the construction workforce for a more digitally driven future.
The collaboration also seeks to facilitate greater knowledge exchange and engagement among government agencies, industry stakeholders and technology providers, supporting the development of a more connected and forward-looking construction ecosystem in Malaysia.
Through these efforts, the partnership aims to contribute towards improving industry productivity, strengthening professional capabilities, and supporting Malaysia’s continued progress towards a more modern and digitally empowered construction sector.
This collaboration underscores the growing role of AI-enabled BIM technologies in enabling more intelligent, efficient and data-driven infrastructure delivery, supporting Malaysia's ambition to build a modern and globally competitive construction sector by 2030.
